RELEASE INFO
WORK IN MNEMONICS is the fruit of West Bromwich ex-pat emcee Sleaze (now based in Plymouth)
and EATGOOD's own Sonnyjim. The two came together via a mutual friend Ruffstylz (of Associated Minds)
having an appreciation for each others catalog and their West Midlands roots a collab was born in the
form of Working Mnemonics. A joint effort and outlet for Sleaze's thick West Bromwich twang and coded
metaphors and references combined with Sonnyjim's slick wordplay; maluable flows and his trademark ear for beats.
Guests on the EP include EATGOOD label mate Kosyne as well as the London vet Jokerstarr and the up and coming
songstress Nikki Marie.
Tracks range from the radio friendly swing heavy single "Long Road" to the firey banger "What Up Now" and the introspective
"Work In Mnemonics", production is handled via EG/Louis Den powerhouse Kelakovski and the internationally renouned
Beat Butcha and Chemo.
This release has seen both camps promoting the EP with Sleaze and Sonnyjim releasing the "Long Road" single and shooting
