BIOGRAPHY
Redbeard began tearing up the open mic nights in, and around Birmingham. Redbeard meet Sonnyjim and Kosyne through a mutual friend and as they had a likeness in appreciation towards the same hip hop artists and producers they began working together, helping each other out with the different musical project's and idea's they were working on. This then formed into EatGood records.
Redbeard started to promote himself in September 08 by giving out a free Mix CD (packed with exclusives and snippet's) titled Tha 40 Minute Wonda which has had over 1000 CD's given out in the UK, and received over 1000 downloads off the internet. The 40 minute Wonda promo created a lot of interest about Redbeard and has had review's from sites such as Certified Banger, Change The Record to name a few. Redbeard has also had spins on radio 1xtra from DJ Sarah Love, Suspect Packages radio show from Disorda and also from a number of community radio stations including DJ Cro The Main Ingredient show on Newstyle fm and Winchester and Ra Ra Pentalk Sessions on Newport City radio
Redbeard became the resident performer/host at Birmingham's Scratch Club, supporting the likes of DJ Q-bert and DJ First Rate, also a resident performer/host at Louis Den Beat Cyphers performing along side Mystro, Kashmere, Yungun, Oddisee, DJ IQ and many more.
In 2010 Redbeard put out his Single Agency Scum and Sold 1000+ hand to hand around the country (Plymouth, Swindon, Cambridge, Norwich, Lincoln, London etc etc) while doing live shows featuring with EatGood records fellow artists Sonnyjim, Kosyne & Kelakovski. On November 5th Redbeard released an EP by the name of B for Vendetta which is available on Redbeard's Bandcamp page. The EP is also accompanied by a video for Mind Gamez (Remix) produced by Kelakovski. The future looks promising, The future's Red!
